Pad work in kickboxing at Stellar Gym

What is kickboxing, what is Thai boxing?

Kickboxing combines punches from boxing with kicks. Thai boxing (Muay Thai) goes one step further and adds knees, elbows and the clinch – which is why it's called the "art of eight limbs".

With us you train both in one class. First you learn clean basic technique, guard and footwork. Then come combinations, pad work and, if you want, controlled sparring. Later you can prepare specifically for competitions such as Kicklight or K1.

Kickboxing is one of the best full-body workouts: you improve endurance, strength, reaction and coordination – and relieve stress along the way.

What training gives you
  • Better fitness and strength
  • Faster reactions and coordination
  • Confidence and mental strength
  • Effective self-defence
  • Stress relief after school or work
  • A community that motivates you
